Worst Customer Experience

I reside in Canada and I've been trying to order an item to send as a gift to my partner who lives in the US. The only way I can send the birthday gift directly to my partner is if I had a US credit card. In 2021, they need to update their system. I would never shop at Rue Lala, after this experience. I was advised by their online chat rep to email *******@cs.ruelala.com, which I did on June 7th. I still haven't received a reply from my email, and today is June 10th. I had to speak to another online chat rep to tell me, they are unable to help me. The way RueLala does business is very outdated.

Worst company to buy from

They shipped a coffee table to my NON preferred address in NY because I used “Apple Pay” but my address is changed in apple and a double checked the address before placing the order!!!!! I called ASAP when I noticed the order confirmation did not have the correct address and they weren’t open! I called the next morning and they said they can’t change or cancel my order and the $265 coffee table is final sale! So my coffee table is in NY while I’m in TX and I have to contact the place it’s being delivered to and ask them to ship to me for God knows how much!!!!! Stay away!

RueLaLa is slipping big time

Long time major customer of RueLaLa - numerous shipping errors, wrong items shipped, damaged items, lack of follow through from customer service. For example; RueLaLa is placing a value of $120 on items that are picked incorrectly with an MSRP of $25. I unfortunately ordered three of these for gifts with different addresses. Only part of the order showed up. Every order is now an issue. It's exhausting to try to correct all of the errors. I'm deleting the app and looking elsewhere. I purchased about 250 items a year. Bye Bye Rue

COMPLETE SCAMMERS

ZERO STARS! Wish I had seen this before placing an order with these crooks. Returned an order the following day after receiving it, 4-2-2021. Weeks went by and no refund. Customer service was HORRENDOUS, kept on telling me they hadn't received the return. Finally filed a PayPal claim. 3 weeks later they tell me the return was received 4-14-2021. They refuse to release the credit- stating I have to since I filed a claim. Nope. Not how that works- THEY need to acknowledged goods received to PayPal in order for credit to process. Over a month later I still have not received my almost $1500 refund for a return received WEEKS ago.

TODAY THEY CHARGED MY PAYPAL CREDIT ACCOUNT for $97.68. I have not ordered ANYTHING further from them and never will. TOTAL FRAUDS.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS and I'm out $1542. 27. I will not rest until these guys are out of business and can no longer rip off unsuspecting customers.

Received empty container

My Paris Predire product was unsealed and the tube was empty. Rue la la did not issue a refund. I would not order anything again.

1- delivery took more than 1 month

1- delivery took more than 1 month
2- no response to any of my emails regarding the delay
3- they call damaged product ((less then perfect)) although they don’t know what is the product.
4- for a total damage product they offer 40% off, or a total refund if you do the whole process of refund ( printing forms, labeling, packing and dropping it to DHL)

horrible experience

I bought skincare from them and I decided to cancel my order but nobody is answering my emails and their whole thing is how fast they are to ship the items but so far it's been a week and they haven't even dispatched my items.

Great experiences with RueLaLa

I have ordered from RueLaLa several times and have received exactly what I had ordered and expected, based upon pictures on website. My orders came on or even before time expected and the prices were terrific. I just ordered something last night but it was billed to a credit card on file and not with Afterpay, as I had checked off in payment information. I went to live chat, gave them the order number and explained problem. Arienne immediately canceled my order and advised charge would void in 3-5 business days. The charge actually voided today. I was then able to reorder product and pay as I had wanted to ( the payment error was made by me, not RueLaLa ). My sister had ordered a gift for a good friend. It was exactly as described and arrived right on time. I may have been lucky once but several times now?? I doubt it.

DISAPPOINTED WITH THE You are lucky to get your package with a month and the wrong item was sent. Placed an order on 10-22-2020 for 2 sofas, after 1 month I received I ordered a bracelet from ForeverCreations in New York a supposed to be a diamond bracelet and the quality looked like cheap flakes (mind you nothing described on Rue La La). I sent an email to a customer service gave me the run around I went on the BETTER BUSINESS site did research about this company and I found their CONTACT which is ₑᵢᵍₕₜ ᶠₒᵤᵣ ᶠᵢᵥₑ five2one ₛₑᵥₑ ₜwₒ fₒᵤᵣ fᵢᵥₑ I feel Lucky my see my amount back from this company We will not be buying from Gilt again.
I can only reiterate what most of the other users on here have said and suggest that you DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY My advice to anyone using this company, keep it moving with another source.

Horrible order tracking

After placing my first order 1 month ago and not receiving it and reordering it The second order never made it to me. I've reached out to Fedex And rueLala and both keep sending me to contact the other to the search the item. Their only resolution is to give me credit and refund me but I will never do business with this company again and I will never order anything from the Wendy Williams show if it comes from Rue La La.

This is absolute WORST place to order from

If I could give a negative star I would. I bought a hair dryer from trendy at wendy, the dryer was originally about 250 and was brought down to $30 I purchased earlier January and RU LALA has been taken $30 out of my account every week since then and I still dont have the product. I've talked to 3 different costomer service reps and a supervisor and as of today they are still taking money out of my account. Take it from me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Dishonest.

Ordered a suit with pants. Never receive the pant.
Contacting is hard, you have to send 5 E-mail to get 1 returned.
After that, I get a waybill to send it back. Sounds good right?
No, the amount of refund stated is less than what I paid.
Now I have to contact my Visa. What a time and money wasting shopping.

They are an authorized retailer for Pandora and do specialize in retired or otherwise hard to get charms.

Go direct to the brands themselves to check if you're worried about something like this for authenticity. Usually they'll directly state if they're not an authorized retailer for the brand.

Most of their stuff is new. The only 'used' items or 'preowned' state it on the item's page itself. Be on the look out for stuff that's got a link to a 'vintage' guide or states it's preowned/preloved or whatever phrasing they use. Most of the items that are like that will be handbags. (Anything else being 'used' would be just nasty)
